VEGETABLE FRIED RICE

Every Asian love rice. It is our traditional staple every meal. In fact, rice is now being adopted all over the world because of the influence of oriental cuisine. Plain steamed rice is the most traditional way of cooking and serving it and fried rice is another way of preparing it and because of it's pleasing and satisfying flavors. There are so many ways to prepare rice, but this particular recipe will give you an idea how to prepare it. Fell free to add your favorite spices as you tag along with my recipe. Let's get started!






VEGETABLE FRIED RICE


Ingredients:

8 servings


1 medium onion, minced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 medium carrots, minced

1/4 c. mushrooms, chopped

3 TB Bragg Aminos or Soy Sauce

1 tsp. Sesame Oil

1 tsp Turmeric Powder

1 tsp Curry Powder (optional)

2 TB Olive Oil or any oil of your preference

4 c. Cooked Rice, chilled or in room temperature

Salt to taste


Instruction:


Preheat the stove over medium high heat, add 2 TB of cooking in a wok or large skillet (add more if necessary during cooking). Add garlic, onion, carrots, mushrooms and stir fry for 2 minutes, then add the cooked rice, soy sauce and sesame oil and stir it constantly for 8-10 minutes. Garnish with sesame seeds and fresh chives on top before serving.
