Carob powder is a cocoa powder alternative and it does look the same in powder form, but it doesn't taste like chocolate at all. It is made from dried roasted carob tree pods and often used in baking goods because it has a unique taste. Unlike chocolate, it is caffeine free.

CAROB DRINK
Ingredients
1 c. Coconut Milk
1 TB Carob Powder
2 c. Almond Milk or any plant based milk of your choice
2 TB Agave Nectar or Maple Syrup
Instruction:
1. In a small pot, mix the coconut milk, carob powder and almond milk with whisk over medium high heat. As soon as it starts boiling, turn it down into a low heat, stir and simmer for 20-30 seconds or until carob powder is completely dissolved.
2. Add the agave or maple syrup and serve it with coconut whip topping.
