This is a hearty and nutritious breakfast recipe.
MULTI-GRAIN PANCAKE
Yield: 4-6 servings
Ingredients
2 c. Multi-grain Flour (Whole Wheat, Spelt, Corn Flour, Buck Wheat etc.)
2 TB Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1 3/4 c. Non-dairy Milk
2 TB Ground Flaxseeds plus 4 TB Water (mix)
1 TB Maple Syrup
1 tsp Vanilla Flavoring
Instructions
Have a separate bowl for dry ingredients and for liquid ingredients. Mix the ingredients in each bowl until fully combined.
Place a pan in a medium low heat and pour a 1/2 c. batter, turn the pancake over as soon as it starts showing some bubbles.
Serve warm with maple syrup or fresh berries and fruits of your choice.
