This waffle recipe is gluten free and soy free after I tweak it a little bit. It has a wonderful flavor and so scrumptious especially after you spread peanut butter or any nut butter on top and drizzle with a little bit of maple syrup or Agave.
WHOLE GRAIN SUNFLOWER WAFFLES
Ingredients
2 c. Non-dairy Milk
1 1/2 c. Rolled Oats
1/4 c. Millet, ground
1/4 c. Sunflower Seeds
2 TB Shredded Coconut
1 tsp Coconut Oil
1 tsp Vanilla
4 pieces Dates, pitted
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/4 c. Flaxseeds
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients. Let it set for 15 minutes.
- Prepare the waffle iron ready and hot.
- Pour the mixture into the waffle maker.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes
Serve with any nut butter and maple syrup for topping or any topping of your choice.
